7th book review 'A WHITE HERON'

I read 'A WHITE HERON'. This book has five American short stories, 'A White Heron', 'The Story of an Hour', 'The Complete Life of John Hopkins', 'Luck', and 'The Tell-Tale Heart'. I introduce about 'A White Heron'.

This story is about a little girl who likes birds and animals. Her name is Sylvia. Sylvia's only friends are birds and animals. One day she met a man. He is a new friend, but he likes to shoot birds. He was looking for a white heron. She didn't like the human who shoot the birds. In the woods, she found a white heron, but she told him this thing. She defended this bird. she couldn't get along with him. But, she was very brave.

I thought that she really likes birds, animals. If my friend shooted a bird, I could get along with her. But, she lost a friend. She want to defend a white heron even if she lost a friend. I didn't know whether her behavior was right, but I felt her heart is pure, strong.
